As you may all ready know, on Feb 29th, Grade 12 student Janine Van Veghal will be going bald! However, there is a catch, the student body has to raise $500! That may seem like a lot but really if you think of it, that’s only $1 a person.
Now you have two ways you can donate! You can either donate money into the cans around the school or now you can donate into the envelope in your homeroom class. The homeroom class that raises the most money will be given a cake of you choice. Chocolate, Vanilla, Lemon, Red Velvet, what ever you want!
Remember that the point of Go Bald or Go Home is not that a girl is shaving her head but where the money is going. Half of the proceeds are going to “Operation Re-Cool the School” an initiative by student council to make YOUR school a better learning environment and the other half is going to Kincardine’s Women’s House.
