During a student council meeting, Grade 12 Student Janine Van Veghal and other student council members were discussing ideas for fundraisers for the 2012 school year. Janine blurted out "I really want to shave my head". So agreeing that it will be a great and fun fundraiser Janine will in-fact be shaving her head!! This event will only occur if the KDSS student population is able to raise $500, only then will Janine go bald!
What ever the final amount is once fundraising is done, Janine will be donating half to Kincardine Women's House and half to KDSS for Operation Re-Cool the School!
This amazing event will be taking place Thursday February 16th at noon in the cafe! Donation cans have been placed in the library, cafeteria and the main office!
