The 14th Annual KDSS Christmas Knights Drive is just around the corner! Since 1997 students from Kincardine District Secondary School have been going door to door collecting non-perishable food items and new toys in the Kincardine Area. The 2011 event will be held on Saturday, December, 10, 2011 and it runs from 9am till noon. This event is a great way for teenagers to give back to their community. So what do you, the Kincardine Citizen have to do? Well it’s easy! Put aside some non-perishable food items and/or new toys and on December 11 some of the 135 student volunteers will come to your house between 9am and 12pm and will collect your generous donation from you! All of the collected food and toys go to the Kincardine Christmas Hamper Program run by Kincardine Community Services. This is an amazing event with an even more amazing cause!
Things that the Christmas Knights accept are:
Canned Food
Spaghetti & other noodles
Cereal
Crackers
New Toys
Presents for Teenagers. (Gift Cards are good!)
