First Day of OFSAA is a success for the Girls!

The KDSS girls Hockey are in Belleville, Ontario where they are competing at OFSAA (Ontario Federation of Secondary Athletic Association).

At 9:30am the girl's had their first game against E.L. Crossley Secondary School (Fonthill, Ontario). The girls had a tough game but was able to win 1-0. Mikhayka Bowes (Grade 10) scored they first goal of OFSAA for the Knights with the assistants of Jessica Satosek (Grade 10). A shout goes to Natalie Melick (Grade 12) who saved all the goals shot against the Knights!

At 12:30 the Knights had their second game. This time its was against St. Paul Secondary School (Niagara Falls). This games was no challenged for they skill of the Knights. With Morgan Padfield in the Knights were able to get a score of 7-0! Goals were scored by Maddie Duncan, Sara Gossell, Haley Allen, Cassidy Colhoun, Courtney Surridge and others (TBA)! 

The Knights have advanced onto tomorrow. The Girls will be facing Ridgetown District High School at 8:00am and again at 1:00pm against Collège Notre Dame!
