Two tournaments down, and one to go for the KDSS FIRST ® robotics team, The Kinetic Knights.

March 23rd and 24th were the dates for the Kinetic Knights’s second competition. The team travelled to the University of Waterloo for the 2012 FIRST Waterloo Regional. The Knights, just like two weeks prior, had a very successful day, doing very well during the qualifying matches. Team 781 was 8th seed at the begging of alliance selections. With the assistance of FIRST Team 2809 (K-Botics ) and 288 (Robo-Dawgs). This alliance fought very hard and lost 41-40 in the 3rd semi-final match. Even though 781 did not win, they did not come home empty handed either. Thanks to the build team, 781 was given the “Innovation in Control Award”.
